COMMUNITY ACTION PEQUOT LAKES SERVING - THE COMMUNITY Longtime Community Action of Pequot Lakes member Kevin O'Hern, now owner of Merritt Jewelers, has been helping the group for many years. That cocoa you drink at Santa's Bobbin' it has been Kevin making the gallons to keep you warm; that popcorn you now eat at one of the City festivals, it's Kevin who bought the machine and donates the popcorn to pop. A goldsmith and jewelry de- signer by trade, he has been working at Merritt Jewelers since. 1998, but purchased Community Action of Pequot Lakes features Kevin O'Hern from Merritt Jewelers Fancy Diamand Heeps Elegance & Beauty Muse the store in June of 2023 when Barb and Don Merritt decided to retire. Originally from California, one of 15 children, Kevin grew up in Orange County, where he still goes back every year or two. He enjoys boating, hunting, fishing, but really enjoys cooking and smoking meats and also trying new restaurants. CAPL is so very pleased to have Kevin and Merritt Jewelry on Front Street in Pequot Lakes as a member.
