The Region 5 workforce initiative is a public-private initiative designed to build the strength of the laborshed in the five counties of Crow Wing, Cass, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties. Education and Workforce Development was one of several key goals identified in a comprehensive development plan for the region unveiled in 2012.
The Central Minnesota Sustainable Development Plan was launched by the Region 5 Development Commission, in partnership with a variety of private, public, and non-profit organizations that share our mission of growth and a thriving economy in our region.
