I am running for this position because I wish to contribute my energy, enthusiasm, and skills to the mission of protecting Minnesota’s soil and water resources. My experience working on environmental projects with community groups —plus my years working professionally as a communicator—will help to broaden the reach and exposure of SWCD in Cass County. I will work hard to ensure that SWCD’s programs and funding opportunities are well known to private citizens and local organizations so they may utilize these programs to conserve our soils, wetlands and forests for future generations.
