Join via Zoom or in person. The goal is to help property owners start the process for their shoreline restoration project, educate landowners that coir logs, native plants and blooming flowers can help restore a shoreline, and help the pollinators. Laura Mendoza from Great Roots will relate her experience with Shoreline Restoration and offer the opportunity to participate in various community build projects this season. There is no better way to learn about Shoreline Restoration projects than on site planting natives in a biodegradable blanket or making willow wattle. In addition, attendees can learn about Landscaping for Loons and how this exciting new opportunity is coming to the Crosslake area. A representative from Crow Wing Soil and Water will be available to talk about site visits, site summaries and the process to follow for possible funding opportunities.
