COMMUNITY ACTION Community Action of Pequot Lakes PEQUOT LAKES SERVING THE CONFeatures Member Abby Jacobs from the Swell Co. One of the newest businesses in Pequot Lakes, The Swell Co., located on Main Street where it sells casual clothing for men, women and children, accessories, unique gifts, greeting cards and home DS-GIFTS goods, is owned by Community Action of Pequot Lakes member Abby Jacobs. It opened in May of this year and Here is located in the building that Gomes her husband, Collin, previously Sothe operated his architectural firm. Abby, her husband, and three children moved to the Pequot Lakes area ten years ago from South Dakota and now live on a small hobby farm. In addition to CAPL, she is an active member of Grace United Methodist Church (where she's a Youth Group leader) and the Chamber. Her quote, "I am honored to be a part of downtown Pequot Lakes, amongst such amazing businesses. We absolutely love Pequot and it has been so fun watching it grow and see new businesses move in" explains why CAPL members support our community.
