COMMUNITY SERVING PEQUOT LAKES THE ACTION CON 8 COMMUNITY Community Action of Pequot Lakes Features Member Collin Jacobs Did you even wonder what was going on with the old Pfeiffer Drug building in Pequot Lakes. If so, this month's Community Action Person of Interest will provide the answer: 3½ years ago, architect Collin Jacobs of New Heritage purchased the building, remodeling the front for retail tenant space and the back with its own entrance for his office. At some point in the future, Colin plans to develop the two lots on either side of his office. 99% of New Heritage's business focuses on designing lake homes and cabins. Collin, his wife Abby, and their three children live just outside of Jenkins on a 5 acre hobby farm where they totally remodeled the house. Their children, Evan, Bowen, and Stella planted 400 pumpkins this year, so watch for their pumpkins to hopefully be for sale on one of the empty lots next to New Heritage this fall. We are thrilled to have Collin and his family as part of CAPL's family.
