PEQUOT LAKES Community Action of Pequot Lakes THE COMFeatures Members Linda Olson from the Pequot Lakes Community Library PEQUOT LAKES LIBRARY One of the newest members of CAPL is the Pequot Lakes Community Library and its almost new Coordinator, Linda Olson. Coming from the Superior, Wisconsin, Library, Linda joined the library just over one year ago, replacing long-time Coordinator Nancy Adams (another Community Action member). The library, now in its 19th year, has grown from three small rooms at City Hall to its current bustling location on Rassmussen Road where it enjoys the entire building that includes a large Meeting Room available to the public. Friends of the Pequot Lakes Library recently purchased the vacant lot behind the library on Washington Street, so there is the possibility of a library expansion somewhere out in the future. Linda, who has COMMUNITY SERVING ACTION 31117 family throughout the Pequot area and has vacationed here since 1998, participates in quilting at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, the Knit Pub Group in Pine River, and still manages to do remote cataloging at the Superior Library.
