COMMUNITY ACTION Community Action of Pequot Lakes Features Member SERVING PEQUOT LAKES THE COMMUNITY Nancy Vogt of the Echo Journal AHM Thirty years ago, all at once, Nancy Vogt got married, moved to our area, and started working a new job at the Brainerd Dispatch where she stayed for 14 years. A promotion led her to become Editor of the now PineandLakes Echo Journal, where she has been for the last 16 years. Quite an achievement! While there may no longer be a physical location in Pequot Lakes and Pine River, you will often find her working from a coffee shop or library in the towns she covers. In addition to being a CAPL member, Nancy is a former Toastmaster and is on the PL Chamber Advisory Board. She and her husband, Dave, enjoy many outdoor activities. Nancy's family includes stepson Brad and his family who live in Owatonna, daughters Nicole and her husband who live in Pillager, and Megan and her partner who live in St. Cloud.
